Not mentioned in the readme either I don't think?

I don't think it is as it has smoke coming from it, its obviously a diesel of some description? A service unit??

Try running the scenario through RW Tools to generate a list of stock used, which will narrow the search down a bit.

Has the Author used the default Class 166?
With the Kuju folder not ticked it might just create the Auto Couplings and the Gangways?

Apparently there isn't a 166 and I do not think this vehicle is a passenger vehicle it's more like a track maintenance unit or something similar? Doesn't show up in RWTools neither is there anything missing?
Well I have identified the services, they are 1 2 3 & 4, completely invisible, I note in his sparse readme that he requires you to have all the FP packs, I haven't so I'm guessing its something in one of those? I uninstalled some of the packs because of SBHH issues with them bloating the Kujunk folder! Will have a butchers to see what I have missing?

I did some more detective work, and ran the scenario again but with the F6 monitor activated so I can see what services are running, non of these units show up with a designation? and do not show up in the list of Ai services?? This is really bugging me, how on earth can they be ghost services?

Based on the picture and place in the route I think* it is the UKTS freeware 317 with FCC skin. (link to the file is on download page). And I think it is 2V24. Also, what sound do you hear?

- Make a clone of the scenario
- Delete 2V24
- See if that worked

*It depends a bit on how tight you stick to the timetable.

The only stock used:
RSC 365 and 321
UKTS freeware packs plus 317 repaint
Pendolino
Grand Central HST

TS gets you like that. You find a "fault", which doesn't stop you running the activity, you know you should ignore it and move on, but the more the mystery remains unsolved the more you want to solve it. All part of the fun if you're that way inclined. If you're not, then you end up having a go at the developer, scenario writer, or anyone else in the near vicinity

Well I haven't felt inclined to "have a go" at the author since I know about authoring scenarios since 2007 and have had the gamut of complaints myself in that time.
Only concern I had was the "sparse" readme.

@Prorail, I have the 317 installed and the appropriate re-skins from the FP. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner going past that is bunged up! Best I can describe it I'm afraid.

Service 1 = default class 365
Service 2 = GNER Valenta Gold reskin by David Hossacks (?) from a UKTS Freepack
Service 3 = class 317 in FCC livery, also in a UKTS Freepack
Service 4 = Grand Central HST

Invalid File ID [30591]

Make sure you have the .Geo's copied over correctly for the 2 UKTS Freepack items, see if you can place any of these problematical bits of stock in a new free roam scenario.

Hi Gary, thanks, but those services were a red herring apart from the 317, everything is in the correct folders but it ain't showing in-game? These mystery units are ghost services, they have no designations and there are three or 4 of them.
I'm afraid the mystery will have to remain as I have other games to play now, my deerstalker is firmly placed on it's hat stand.

The 317 is a 3 car set.
I'm intrigued by this one; downloaded it last night but was unable to successfully swap stock with RW Tools...ScenarioProperties.xml just wouldn't reflect any changes and promptly crashed the game!
In game it shows as "copy of 2K33" which doesn't fill you with confidence.

Which 317 is a 3 Car set?
I presume it's the 4 car set with a coach removed?
