Sounds great Richard

And Yerkes, you are spot on... There really has been a real routefest over the last 6 months or so and it has made it hard for the great scenario creators on this site to concentrate on one thing, I appreciate that. But hey no complaints here but the route is better than a lot of payware and I think anything created would encourage Darren further

I've just completed one with the new Class 91 but I can't upload it to the workshop as the route isn't finalised!!!

I don;t suppose my existing ecml scenarios will work with this? I have over 300 for that.

Unfortunately, I doubt any scenario's for the original York - Newcastle or the JustTrains Modern version will work. You can always try.

Just a note on anyone thinking of making scenario's for Darren's rendition of the route. As 37114 as stated, the route isn't finalised yet and still WIP and there's a chance any scenario's created between updates may not work after the route is updated further.

Of course, you can create scenario's, but be ready to check they still work and edit them if needs be after the next update.

I just thought I'd point it out on here as Darren isn't able to.
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

I've been in touch with Darren.

He has confirmed that at the moment the route is still WIP although any further updates to the route will not include any editing of the existing track layout as of version 1.2 released yesterday (26/2/14). There may be expansion to the existing track in future updates but this should not have any adverse effects on any scenario's produced for the latest release.

Also, if you do produce any scenario's for the route and you would like them hosted at Darren's site, go to DPSimulation and contact Darren thought the form here http://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/contactus.html

I'm not sure if Darren still looks at these forums, but I want to take this time to congratulate the guy for the work he has done in transforming this route into a wee gem.

He is doing some really great work out there.

Anyone else getting a TS2014 crash on this route around Northallerton? I've had it twice now both times in a quick drive, once northbound and once southbound. The first was with the first version of the route from the workshop and the second with the latest update, different player train on each occasion.

I'll report it to Darren but I thought it might help if others did the same.

I got a crash I think it was South of Northallerton heading South and cannot re start the scenario to check - using a class 90

I just tried creating a Standard scenario with Northallerton as the start point and TS2014 crashed before loading the world editor. I unsubscribed and re-subscribed and I can now get into the scenario editor with Northallerton as the start point. Possibly a dodgy download the first time around?

I'll try the QD's again and hopefully I won't have to bother Darren! If all's still not well I'll report back here as well.

I had exactly the same. So I unsubscribed, checked the directory was gone, re-subscribed and now all is well.
