SSS 8F budget tutorial style video

Post by deltic009 »

Hi everyone, with the challenges it poses with the Steam Chest scripting, and the differences, I thought it may be worth compiling a few videos into a sequence to help and also impress folks with this product.

The main thing you have to get used to is the automatically fluctuating regulator which seems to be part of the new features. It means that your HUD throttle bears little resemblance to the actual throttle output which you can see in the F5 view.

Once you learn to use F5 with occasional F3/4 glances for route knowledge/speeds then it becomes much easier to master. And believe me, although I used the auto fireman. Without mastering it through the lower adhesion sections there is now way you'll get over the top properly. So I hope this helps demonstrate both the technique required and the superb work done by those who have made the pack a reality.

Sit back and turn up the speakers to 11!

Thanks a lot for making this video. A "must see" for learning kettle drivers such as yours truly.

I'm glad if it helps anyone out, I relished the challenge and this was about my fourth attempt, I played it right through and got there in the end. The arrival time was my reward, but the journey was a true adventure!
