It does happen though Juanillo99.

Maybe it doesn't happen very often, but when it does I think it's only fair that a reason should be given, if for nothing else as an illustration why it's happened - and of course as an act of courtesy to other readers/posters :-?

By way of example there was a locking of a thread about the Battlefield Line in "Routes" without explanation as to why from the Mods. It took an explanation from another member on another site to clarify why it (probably) happened.

You also have to ask whether the moderation team were acting because somebody made a complaint. A discussion can get heated without intervention when people are civil to each other even when disagreeing passionately but once a complaint is made the threads come under scrutiny from the complainants viewpoint.

Have a rest for a couple of days, but don't burn bridges---they take too damned long to build!!
Gary,
you are a very wise and astute oracle-esque asset to this board and community. Having taken a step back I can see a little more clearly now the red mist has receded like my hair a little. Things came to a head with me a bit yesterday on a number of fronts and I've had opportunity to dust myself down a bit.

I'm as guilty as anyone... I am not a fan of Pendolinos or pre-grouping steam (other than L&NWR) and sometimes even I say it, but it's not for me to judge anybody else or their interest in them. We are all in it together for as much 'win' as we can get from our time on Earth. I do however love BR Standard steam. 2013 has been great for that!

I do like living in the past - I especially want to create the railway world I grew up with - the railway I wanted to join as a career. That's BR blue and sectorisation. I have a penchant for the railway I did join too - Railtrack and TOCs - but with a leaning for Slam Door, Loco-hauled passenger and freight. That's just me. I do dabble in modern units and class 66s (not sure I dare use the phrase 'shed' any more!!), that I freely admit, but that's not what keeps me in the game, or keeps me here in it's entirety. Likewise, I don't do foreign - BUT I do enjoy having a look through those threads to see what's out there and what's going on. Just as interesting, but not for me... not with the money I am prepared to part with on a game anyway.

I'd just had a bad day and I guess I was still on the rebound from a post exchange last week in a thread that rightly got moderated. Something about it being my fault that I play the game... All water under the bridge now. And let me be clear - my bad day had nothing to do with how this forum had been moderated, but I've been interested to see some of the comments here in this thread as to how they see things happening.

Nope - stupid me. Apologies all round for making such a fuss.

Good to see you're not going. I need someone still here when (if?) I ever finish 31116!

I should hope so too; afterall nobody else in the history of UKTS has ever had a bad day, been in a mood, been confused/drunk, been 'just that way out'....
No apologies needed at all my friend.
