On what we've seen so far I've been almost lost for words, so here goes. The route is looking fantastic, the detail incredible and, unless I'm very much mistaken, appears as if it could well be set in the late eighties/early nineties sectorised-BR era. Release day purchase, no doubt about it.

A few of the screenshots show un-electrified lines. Anyone identified these locations yet?

The Dumfries line best guess.

Double heading 87's on a container train anyone? I mean, weren't they meant for express services until arrival of the class 90? When were they stored, i think i have read it somewhere, they were stored and then sold (all of them?) to Romania(?)

Other than that, route looks really good, what else we could expect from mr. Ross :D

The 87's were mixed traffic from day one. Hence their being fitted with multiple working. Double heading of 86's and 87's was a common enough sight on the northern WCML, especially at night and yes, on container trains.

I'm not so sure it's appeared yet. One of the evening shots of a small station looks very like Bare Lane.

is it by RSC?
There are various locos, coaches and units in the video that don't come from RSC.

It is because Morecambe Station is shown.
The two lines from Bare Lane in to Morecambe are two separate single lines and one of the pictures is just before Bare Lane with a signal on both branches.

Also the line is not set in 2013 because Bare Lane Signal Box has closed and the track layout at Lancaster is different.

I would have thought that it is likely a reskin of the Maroon Mk1 Buffet that came with Keith's WLOS.

Don't recall seeing that one on Kross Rails facebook. Ah well, my bad.

So we have Dumfries and Morecombe. Wonder if there's any others?

For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

I don't know, which is why I was asking.

Hopefully it is, as we could do with one.
