Sorry to say route building is on hold due to a problem with the google overlay. Here's a pic of the problem.

Hi Ryan.

First of all, good luck with the midland mainline. It's a big old task and the sections around Nottingham/Leicester are a particular challenge. Now I started to have a go at this a few years back. Link to my old thread is here:

http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 4&t=117366

This consumed a hell of a lot of my time and as I'm far too busy living the "exciting life" of a scientist these days, I don't really have time to complete it. I'm based in Leicester however, so I may be able, in say a few months, rip my old files for the bits I did between Nottingham and Loughborough and send them your way if you want that.

Also, I'm not really getting what your problem is with the google maps overlay. The tiles can appear like that if the graphics settings aren't right. I prefer RWdecal personally but it's up to you I guess!!
Was building the midland mainline route for Railworks 2 - click here!! but is now on hiatus. Message me for any details concerning this route's continuation.

Hi I was aware that you were building the route as I comment on your youtube video's and I'm fully aware of the task ahead as I live in Loughborough and frequently go anlong the line and that you that would be particularly helpful if you could send me some of the bits between Leicester and Nottingham and I checked the graphics but still wont work.
