Just a simple (I hope) question.
How do you go about re-installing steam purchased assets in a new Train Simulator 2013 installation.
Any suggestions gratfully recieved.
Yours,
DaveB.

Re: re installing purchased steam assets
All your steam purchaed addons are automatically downloaded when you install the game through steam;
or next time you login I suppose, if you've installed it from a disc.

It's up to Steam. You must just verify game cache. Right click on Train Simulator 2013 => Properties => Local Files => verify integrity of game cache...

Re: re installing purchased steam assets
As Dave has already said, the first time after you start TS2013 and connect to Steam it will automatically download and install your previous bought DLC. No need to verify cache.

How does steam know that you have deleted an item from your collection if you don't verify your files?Trev123 wrote:As Dave has already said, the first time after you start TS2013 and connect to Steam it will automatically download and install your previous bought DLC. No need to verify cache.

In this case nothing's been deleted. The question was about a new TS2013 installation.

I took it from the OP that it was a fresh installation, rather than an existing one where stuff had been deleted.749006 wrote:How does steam know that you have deleted an item from your collection if you don't verify your files?Trev123 wrote:As Dave has already said, the first time after you start TS2013 and connect to Steam it will automatically download and install your previous bought DLC. Re: re installing purchased steam assets
My experience has been that the initial load of DLC very rarely works completely. It takes a couple of verifies before all of the files are up to date.
