King Class Locomotive.

Can anyone help with the following please.

I have the original King Pack from Steam for the GWML and it has hardly ever worked correctly. Water cannot be put into the boiler using either manual or auto firing.

I have recently purchased the S&C Specials Pack from Steam which has among others a King Class Loco. This works exactly as it should.

What I am asking is, can the engine.bin file from the Specials Pack King be copied or over written somehow onto the .bin file from the original King to make it work correctly.

I am not a computer techi by any means so if there is a solution please keep it as simple as possible.

Have tried to download this but it will not do it.

I click on download icon then open and all I get is something like,... Error. Badly formed XML document. File D:\build\corerelease\code\fondation\api\corecFxexception.h Line 113.

Do you have any ideas.

Hi John.
Luckily I didn't have my patch installed so I just downloaded it to check it for you.
I downloaded the fix and followed the read me and then both engines worked on a free roam I made.
No other user has contacted me about an issue either.

That obviously doesn't help you in any way but it does help you exclude the King fix from your tracking down of the issue.

Hi Dave.

The only things downloaded recently are, BR Class 101, A4 Pack which included S&C Specials and London to Brighton, all from Steam.

Also a few scenarios from Steam Workshop.

HI Dave. Forget my other reply. I had RW text edit installed. Got rid of that and it downloaded OK. Fixed.
