Re: Glasgow North Caledonian Suburban
As you can see in the videos there are a lot of little things that need fixed and I am having some trouble finding ways to fix them .Eg signals that wont work. Track work has kinks.Just depends on how long it takes me to get it all working.
It should be a route with enough scope for scenario writers. The passanger time table with 50 stations on the route should keep you going for ages.
Rutherglen to Maryhill
Rutherglen to Dawsholm
Possil to Glasgow Central Low Level via Kelvinside or Botanic Gardens.
Balloch to Coatbridge
Maryhill to Coatbridge via Rutherglen
Maryhill to Coatbridge via Carmyle.
As well as Workers specials like Possil to Cydebank Riverside.
And holiday Weekend specials like Glasgow Buchanan Street to Balloch Pier.
And all these in the return direction.
There are also Docks , Ship yards ,Steel works and all the domestic coal yards.
The centenary of the line closing is 4/10/2014 so hopefully well before then , but I'm promising nothing.

It is of course 50 years since the line closed not 100. A wee senior moment there.

The route looks really good Stewart, scenery looks to be of a very high standard indeed.
Thanks to Chris too for pointing out the Urbanglasgow site; those photos of the abandoned low level lines are fascinating

Looking good, and well done. This was my first thought for a route as it was the first railway line I was ever on.
