Wigan-Southport Line

Post by callum1122334455 »

I thought it was about time I opened up a thread about my route that I have been working on for about four months now. This time round the route building block, I have laid all my track down first. So I have all my track from Wigan to Southport done (except the odd bit of fiddly pointwork  )

Here's a screen shot to open with :) (and a video with patchy scenery to follow in a bit)

If someone can guess the location above, they get a pat on the back and I can sleep easy

Did this trip a few times a a young teen. Plt 14 from Piccadilly then onwards  Big junction just outside Southport where the Liverpool line converges if I remember. Nice work

Thanks for the comments. :)

Looks as though a bomb has dropped on Wigan Wallgate though. Just built the platforms now. Took about 30 mins :-?

Thanks for the encouraging comments. Wigan is proving quite difficult to recreate due to the lack of custom assets. I'm muddling it together not too badly though

You can see the WCML in place here.
