Verification Failed

Hi all just received a phone call from my brother. He's been attempting some maintenance, namely deleting the Kuju folder and verifying cache.

However, after a while he gets a message 'cache failed to verify'

Anyone know the reason to this?

Never heard of it - he might want to try re-doing it, it sounds like Steam lost it's connection briefly which caused the problem.
