railworks not starting

hello,
i have just gone to start rail works and the usual black screen came up but nothing else happens i have left it for about 15 mins and it still didn't do anything so i verify integrity of game cache and left that for about 15 mins again and that stays on 0 percent.
is there anything i can do

hello again i have managed to fix this problem by re installing the whole game
also i was thinking about creating the nene valley railway but does anyone have a gradient profile for this line i have tried looking everywhere but can't seem to find it are there any suggestions

I don't specifically know where to find a gradient profile for the Nene Valley Railway but if you have not already done this, I suggest you carefully search their web-site for details or even e-mail them asking for the information. Heritage Railways are usually very good at helping out in this way.
