Great to know you're enjoying the pack Kirk! With regard to the whistle: Yes that a bug I'm afraid. I believe it does that for everyone. You just have to work around it................

Kind Regards

How do you control the brake when using the F4 controls? I know about the J/Shift J for the ejector but I cannot hold the brake at anything other than none or full. The introduction scenario doesn't help much (and seems to be impossible to complete with the F4 controls) and I cannot find a manual for driving the loco.

Thank you.

Thank you.

You need to keep the small ejector cracked to keep to brake maintained or it will bleed away. Play around with it and you will see what i mean. If you set it right you can get it to hold at a desired brake level which is very useful on the long down hills on the S&D when your trying to control your speed.

Thank you very much. I tried last night and with a fresh mind this morning and am afraid that it is just not possible to do this using the F4 controls panel. There is no ejector on the panel but I have discovered that there are effectively six "notches" using the keyboard for J and Shift J and none of these will hold the setting exactly right and either leaks the brakes on or sucks them off. The required precision isn't there. I am sure the real engines must not have been like this as you would soon break a few drawbars on lines like the S&D applying brakes like that.

I am not young any more and I am afraid I cannot manage the cab controls so unfortunately it seems I am unable to use this add-on which is a shame as I like the different livery schemes and sound effects.
