Scenario Marker error

Hi,

Every scenario Destination marker I try to place gives me the error' Can't find destination' even when I place it ahead of the train. any idea what I am doing wrong?

Markers haven't worked for me since the upgrade to TS013 but they do for others. I have no idea why, I'm afraid.

Destination markers have never been a problem for me. Is the route to the marker possible. For example, is the track direction wrong or the track type wrong?

They used to work for me. even if I put a marker ahead of the train I still get the error, driving me mad!!

When placing a destination marker in a scenario, you then have to either "Play" or "Exit" the scenario and then go back otherwise the marker won't be recognised. Once you go back to the scenario, the marker will be saved in the scenario properties and should then work.

It wasn't necessary to save the scenario before the update to TS013 so the manual may well not include this tip.

The manual dates from 2010, which is before the ability to add scenario specific markers was introduced. RSC can't see it as important to have the user documentation up to date.

Strange, I've added destination markers and had them usable before saving or playing.

Maybe it's one of those things that varies from person to person...?
