Richard was clarifying that my earlier post

was referring to a forthcoming activity for the Dorset Coast route as there seemed to be some confusion as to whether it was an activity or an entire route!

Hi guys,

Been in holiday mode, but just want to say a big thanks to everyone who has, or is, taking part. Amazing that we're closing in on 140 uploads for the month.

It's a truly terrific achievement by all concerned. :D

Hi

Just to say a big thanks for all the new items that have been up loaded so far and at 140 that has been taking some going,we still have another 5 days to go including to day maybe we could reach 200 by July the 1st.

I think this exercise proves there is still a lot of interest left in MSTS,I think this will be a interesting year with new routes and stock in the pipe line.

Once again a big thank you from me.

Shame I've not managed to do something, had some work to do for someone for RW, but hats off to to everyone who's pulled it off and contributed a vast variety of stuff :D

I'm sure we are all waiting patiently for the big 'bang' finale to round it off, MEP!

Is it me, or has this month gone extremely fast? Feels like yesterday that MSTS June month started :o

Finale!!! I'm not so sure about that, and to quote Winston Churchill

Hi Everyone,
OK so I've been lurking the last month. I have to say I think it's a fantastic effort by everyone. I'm still trying to sort out my bits after my hard drive failure (just never enough time it seems!) then something else comes out that's even better!
One day hopefully I will get the chance to contribute something other than the 73 stock. I don't think I will be getting rid of MSTS as I just don't have the money for RW.
Just one small question: I'm still running XP (Her Indoors finds it easier) but I notice the uploaded 118 sets are 7z documents. Is Winzip still able to open these?

Thanks

Hi, You need the free 7Zip program to open those - my WinZip wouldn't touch them! :)

According to WinZip

"We designed WinZip to open and extract from the widest range of file formats, including :

7Z, RAR"

Hi

Not sure about winzip. It possibly depends on the version you have; however 7-zip ( http://www.7-zip.org/) is free and does most formats.

Hi Alec, a newer version might - V11 doesn't - haven't bothered reinstalling it as not got any spanned zips to open. Might install it again if some one builds a route with spanned zips.
