Certainly sounds like what the route builders did. I cannot see any back up files in the route so don't know if the changes can be undone and the track editable again.

They certainly did, was mentioned on the old website.

yep, hide-wire was used on the majority of EB routes

Can the hide-ware be reversed so that the branches in question can be extended?
