New NVidia driver released.

Post by malcolmfhill »

314.22 released a couple of days ago. Installed and works well for me. Slightly sharper picture.

Does anyone see any major differences with updating drivers? Not updated mine for a while but never found much of a improvement when I did update it.

I dont really know from personnal experience as i have a laptop gpu which doesnt get driver updates.
I strongly suspect it wont make much difference in railworks considering its still using dx9 aint exactly bleeding edge.

Nvidia drivers cover all their cards and are mostly backwardly compatible to their early cards. However any driver updates usually only update features found on the latest cards, so users with early Nvidia cards are unlikely to find much benefit from updating drivers.

I tried these but had to roll back to the previous driver as I was getting black screens and hangs, no probs with the older version.

A point raised above is it would be lovely id a switch was made to DX 11 for some of the more advanced features they have. Added prettiness always welcome.
