Its actually fairly easy but fairly time consuming if you want ai traffic.
If you are just creating them for yourself that doesnt really work - you will run the scenario so many times setting up and tweaking the ai that by the time you are done you will never want to run it again

Visit Marleyman, he has a set of three free downloads for scenario creation updated for TS2013. Also, a reskinning manual called Paint Your Wagon which is straightforward enough to follow, too.

Regards, John.

Those were the ones I was trying to remember who did them :-)

Ximmy has a good point though - to produce a detailed scenario takes a lot of work which is why I have always been a tad irritated by some attitudes "oh just another scenario" etc. regarding some of the uploads.

I have dabbled a bit in Railworks but spent much more time in MSTS doing activities. Our dear departed friend LAD491 (Laurie) figured that for an hour of activity it would take anywhere from 20 - 30 hours to properly debug with AI interactions running at nominal speed, then like a F1 driver and then like my dear old Gran to make sure the timings worked for all driving styles with no standoffs etc.
Kindest regards

Yes.

You need to enable the game to show available stock, by ticking what's called the "Provider/Product" boxes.
The procedure is shown in http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=117021

The Provider/Product boxes you'll need to tick for those assets are:

DRB_SimStuff/UK

RailVision/Addon

There is a simplified step by step (pictorial) guide in the Rw's manual, it outlines how to make a simple scenario, print the necessary pages out and go from there, that's how I learned.

It's worth using RW Tools to create a list of Loco/Coach/Wagon Items that you can save in to Excel.
You can then have a printed list of where to find that loco or coach you wish to put in a scenario.

I split mine in to Europe, UK & USA for easy finding.
