Thanks for the WLOS Route Keith!!

Post by Railgunner2160 »

Been playing through some of the scenarios and am loving the detail and the new Black5 Controls, very nice and a bit of a challenge!!! Though one minor (Extremely) issue to note is that the controls for the tender lamp (The on that is supposed to help light the cab) aren't listed anywhere in the manual, like I said extremely minor and found it after a couple of different google searches.....

Now if only I could get the "Train from Bloemfontein" Song from Monster Moves - 100 Ton train out of my head while playing!!!!

Again great work, and I'm looking forward to working my way through the scenarios, especially the ice cream ones!! ;)

(I live in the US, but I've been in love with British locos and rolling stock, The older thomas the tank engine series got me hooked (Season 1-7/8) [back when they used actual models and a model rail layout] :)

Im testing my King Mod on it simply because it has the most bonkers gradients this side of Lickey bank. Not only does it look beautiful, its a heck of a lot of fun to drive over.

Best steam route in Railworks, and I say that as someone who fell in love with Woodhead. The only bad news Is I cant do any GWR scenarios for it.

Always great to see positive comments for routes :D

I agree that GWR locomotives do look rather nice on the route. I do have a Manor/City/56xx scenarios in the works. Although those are on hold as busy with a different game though.

Hey, we have to put up with diesels on our Steam route, but your just going a step too far with the GWR scenarios. :D

I'm so desperate to buy this route but I'm waiting for my new PC to arrive before I do as I want to appreciate it in all it's visual glory. Before all of that I have the joy of OS installation to go through - grrrrrr

I would be going by Locomotive Trials style ones, Or a odd rail tour before the line closes :P

Although i have ran XC Voyagers on the line and they also look at home on it.

Totally agree! Absolutely brilliant route with loads of variation, both in track and scenery. It's got just about everything you would wish for including a nice variety of freight options and driving challenges. I'm having great fun running Kevin's KngTrains Mogul!

Keith certainly has an eye for detail, and you can tell this route was built with painstaking love. And right smack on the railway period I like the best. :D

Grateful thanks to Keith, and anyone else who was involved with this project.

Going Great Western is never going too far. I must get around to doing some scenarios for it. At the moment Im loco tinkering but I expect the draw of the Jubilee class on the line will be too great for me to avoid sooner or later.

The sheds on this route are so large, you could comfortably create one just running from the train, to putting it away in the shed. Lots of potential there.

Agree with the praise. Stunning detail, and incredibly immersive route. Can't tear myself away from it.

And thanks as well for the wonderful (yes, diesel) scenarios in the workshop.

An amazing route with great deal, plenty of scope and Keiths workshop scenarios are full of atmosphere.

Keep up the good work Keith.

I saw some Belted Galloway cattle in a field near the line, that's a nice touch.
