Train Simulator Easter sale?

Post by callum1122334455 »

Does anyone know if we will get an Easter sale this year? It isn't looking like it so far.

I do wish people would cease endless speculation about whether certain times of year would result in sales.

We have January sales starting in December these days; although you could be forgiven for thinking they start in November due to the unfortunate influence of the USA.

Easter itself is a week off; so if there was to be an "Easter sale" surely it would happen between 29/03/13 and 01/04/13 this year?

I see you've already bought yourself some new computer specs, Manuel, very nice.......

Yes, I would have said that any Easter sale is more likely to start when the schools break up, which is next Friday I believe in the UK?

It's OK for those with a steady and regulad job, I suppose, as opposed to us who have to rely on benefits and pensions. The sales always seem to be at times which often conflict with when a lot of us receive our money, and, by that time, it's generally too late. Although, a bit of advance notice would help in knowing, so we can plan ahead, seeing that so many prices of new routes are now almost beyond the reach of a lot of us except when there's a decent sale coming up - that's about the only time I can afford something. To be honest, new routes used to be a reasonable price indeed, but not for very long. What do others think about routes, and current prices ? The world really seems to revolve around the worker these days, with a lot of prices tailored for them, or rich folks. I look after my disabled partner, and can't really leave the house often, and can't hold a job - indeed, not for the last 15 years, and retirement age is fast approaching.

Regards...
