erm......"hobbit"??!?!??...... :-? ......what are you talking about?!

Nevermind...I don't want to know

Personally, I think (if I had the chance) I'd drive Sir Haydn or Douglas :)
I like how Douglas looks and Sir Haydn, even though I remember you using the phrase "a b**ch to fire", looks sort of easy to operate.
And I just like Douglas because it's a nice lookin engine and is probably small enough for me to use!
(I'm short!)

I would like to drive either Tom Rolt (He's bigggg!) or Talyllyn.
Tom Rolt because she's big enough for me to mess up! :D
Talyllyn because she's one of the vintages and the oldest (dates back to 1864! Dolgoch: 1866!)

Mmmm... 7 and 1 are the most powerfull, and apparently 7 is a lot easier, 6 and 3 both have rather odd regulators and are the least powrfull, it means that the fireman can at times be scared rigid leaving wharf when certain notourious TR drivers, will just open the regulator 1/2 way and leave it up wharf cutting, the fireman watching in dismay as the needle falls and the water drops... The first sign on a bad trip is when the pressure doesnt rise when th drivers shuts off through Pendre.

3 and 6 are prone to slipping, 6 has . all weight on the wheels, and 3's wheels are too big, meaning it will do 25 mph *cough apparently* but wont pull away easily, a test of a driver is if he can pull away on 3, rom Hendy Halt, with 5 1/2 bogies in the wet without slipping.... (it has been done)

sillyevan:

6 has to have the highest cab out of all the TR engine!!! 2 is the lowest, followed by 3 or 4....

Useless random fact: The first thing NO.7 did under her own steam on the TR was slip violently being driven off shed.... on her first morning in service.

No wonder the MSTS Model slips on a regular basis... :-?

Erm...is that high cab the reason it got stuck under a bridge?

Lol, 6 never got stuck under a bridge! We had to lower the track under Hendy bridge to stop it getting stuck!

Oh damn...I thought that Awdry story was true
Well, I suppose it's close enough.
OH! And Trainmad :-?
I wasn't talking about the MSTS model of #3. I ment the real engine :)

I haven't actually SEEN it's cab but from the outside...it looked easy to operate.
Of course I may be wrong

Huh!
If you haven't seen 3's cab then how do you know? You've been in it but never looked at the Outer view? Am I wrong? I used the 'Quote' Button!
