Yes I like the newer Talyllyn green livery, i think it suits the engines better. Wouldn't mind seeing 2 back in dark green, this livery makes it look like a traction engine :(

Would be nice to see the engines all in TR green again though

Unfortunately, as much as we all love to see any loco in its original livery, Thomas is one of the dwindling attractions for younger people. Fewer and fewer people in each generation are drawn to steam or narrow gauge. My lads only saw NG as being cute and little until Thomas TT gave them a deeper interest and something to relate to.

Without these attractions I feel NG and other live steam attractions would become 'Just another Museum'

Yes I suppose so. I'm sorry fo the outburst.

I don't actually hate Rev. Awdry or Brit Alcroft but I don't like them painting in-proper livieries on vintage locos. OK?

I have Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 ERTL Diecasts, 2 Old Coaches, Annie & Clarabel, 3 Express Standards and 2 Express Brakes (One broke)

Are there any ERTL models for Merseysider, Tom Rolt, Alf or Bryn Eglwys?

Ah yes, but if it grabs just 1, only 1, the railway may run longer.

Quick answer: No!

The ERTL range follows mainly the TV series and Ivo Hugh (Tom Rolt) has not made an apperance.

Merseysider and Bryn Eglwys were not converted into Thomas charcters.

What I hate about the Talyllyn is No. 6 Douglas being Duncan and No.4 Edward Thomas being Peter Sam!

Oh and somebody somewhere asked; 'do they paint Talyllyn and Dolgoch as Skarloey and Rheneas?'John
Now who is trying to get my attention!?!?
:x I am a Thomas fan...SO?!

but come on....I like the engines dressed like Skarloey, Rheneas, Sir Handel, Peter Sam, Rusty, and Ivo Hugh :)
We here in America only see a really fake Thomas on a few railroads...and besides that we only get Video Tapes and DVD's no REAL THomas days like those in the UK :(

So I wish I could see the Talyllyn Rly on a Thomas Day and not on a Thomas Day :)
I like Talyllyn and Dolgoch as well as Skarloey and Rheneas

Don't be making fun of me just because I've only seen pics of Douglas and ET dressed up...I wanted to pics of the others dressed up too!

[besides more people come to the Talyllyn Rly on Thomas Days too  More profits for TR :) ]

Douglas and ET are the only ones; apart from Midlander and perhaps Sir Hadyn.

The don't ever repaint 1 or 2 or 7

No.5 goes into Rusty....

3,4 and 6 have turned into Thomas, 1 and 2 are too precious/ annoy purists, and 7 is too new.
