Track Rebuilding

Post by spontin »

Strange question but is there a quick way to remove all the track layout in a route yet still retain all the scenery components in place??
Would removing the Tracks.Bin file Track Tiles folder do the job?

Thanks

Yes. And I think the route will still load (and rebuild a new, empty Track.bin). Of course, you will make sure to take away the whole Track Tiles folder, or else chaos ensues. And of course, you are keeping a backup.

Alternatively, you could start a new route and copy over the scenery tiles and the mipmap folder etc..

Hi
yes - I am.
I've discovered that I used a points radius that is too sharp now that TS2013 has improved the physics and the long wheel base locos are leaning at some crazy angles when going over the points.

Can think of any thing to correct this other than a track rebuild.

Any ideas would be of interest!! :)

Remember that along with the track, you'll lose any track-linked assets as well - level crossings, signals, mileposts and whatnot.
