Hello,
I've come across yet another problem with Hagen Siegen route: sometimes when you arrive at a station its platform is missing. People and all other items on the platform are there, it is just the platform itself that is mysteriously invisible. If I save the scenario, get out of TS, and resume from the saved position, the platform is back. I don't even have to clear cache or anything... Quite annoying...
Anyone else encountered this who would know how to fix it?
Thanks a lot.

This Problem occurs also on other routes when your computer has too much to do and has not enought space to load all things.
When i use EnableAsyncKeys to test scenarios i sometimes have these hidden platforms. I also had one time hidden rivers.
Then restart RailWorks and the scenario.

Thanks for your answer. Very good...so were is the bottleneck here? My PC is a core i5, 12 gigs of ram with a 6850 with 1GB of video mem.
I don't think any program should fail to load something because it is busy...it can be slow, extremely slow, but should never do this. If video memory is insufficient, it should start using standard RAM, which will slow things down, but will not cause a failure of this kind. If RAM is not enough, it can be swapped to HDD.
The problem is not the HW, this is a SW bug...
So is there any other way to resolve it other than reloading the scenario?

Hi, only guessing here, but isn't there a limit for a 32 bit programme of 4 GB? Obviously + video memory on top for a 64 bit system, so perhaps extra video memory rather than main memory might be more beneficial.

Hi,
yes the limit for a 32 bit program is there, but still I seriously doubt TS2013 is using it all when the problem occurs. for me it never consumes more than 2 to 2.5 GB of RAM. Will check memory usage when I see the problem again.
Strange thing is that I've never noticed this on other routes and I certainly do not consider Hagen-Siegen to be the most demanding one...

I would guess it is maybe this bug:

I don't know why this would particularly happen on that route though.
