Hello
I hope that someone can help me and prove that I am not going mad. I have just started to try out some of the scenarios that come with the DLC. I am pulling out of Glasgow station and as I am in the first tunnel something happens that I have not noticed before. I have included some screenshots, is this normal?
Everything starts off fine

Re: Glasgow To Edinburgh glitch?
Its a misplaced occlusion Volume
Because the tunnel slopes down but the Occlusion volume doesnt
You are driving into it from below making it look like darkness descending
Go into the world editor, find the offending volume and drag the base down until it is below the floor on the lower side of the tunnel

Thanks for your reply Dave, I thought it was something wrong with my GFX card, Is it easy to rectify as I have never even loaded up the world editor before .

Re: Glasgow To Edinburgh glitch?
Its Not that difficult
First, just incase you do make a mess, go into your ..\railworks\Content\Routes\folder and make a copy of the ffc02253-25f0-40a6-9759-2c142c8fff56 folder. This will be your backup.
Now that youre safe, launch railworks and go into the Editor for Edinburgh to Glasgow

You should start at Glasgow so, fly to the tunnel mouth

Carry on going down the tunnel at ground level (above the tunnel) and you should come across 2 green arrows, if you cant find them take a note of the Latitude Longitude in my screenshot

Click the two green arrows, This can be tricky but once you click it you should get a large mesh box appearing. Fly below the tunnel and find the handle to drag the base of the box down

Drag it down to below the floor of both sides of the tunnel and then press play, and accept changes. Test it to make sure its worked but that should be it.

If you do mess up somewhere along the line, just copy all the files from the copy folder you made into the original folder.

Thanks for explaining that to me Dave, a bit shoddy of them to forget that, did they not test the route beforehand?

Before you do anything, it might be easier to downloadkoenig wrote:Thanks for explaining that to me Dave, a bit shoddy of them to forget that, did they not test the route beforehand?
Another user (Fodda) has kindly fixed this issue, added the other missing occlusions and uploaded the patch to UKTS
His tunnel thread can be located here
