Whoops...sorry Andy, I read your post on my phone and forgot all about it!!..old age and a very bad day is the excuse I'm sticking to!

The easieast way would be to use RW Tools to edit the scenario, I believe the one you need to be looking at is the Glasgow Queen Street Blue Skies freeroam, and the start time should be 14:45

Hi gptech, Thanks for getting back, sorry I'm only just getting back myself.

I've tried your suggestion, but I'm afraid it didn't work for me.

However, I've established that the "Free Roam: Haymarket Depot Autumn Evening" scenario appears to be the culprit. This is the only one that sets a time late in the evening, about 8:20, opening in the dusk of the evening, and also at a Start Location that is not where it's meant to be. It's supposed to start at Haymarket Depot, but opens at Polmont in both the Scenario Editor and in Play, which is where the World Editor also opens it, all in the dusk, but there is no locomotive/s to choose from. Instead, the only available locomotive is actually in the Boness SRPS Arrival Siding. I feel therefore, that this scenario is not quite as it should be for some reason, but perhaps, that is another question.

That leaves me now wondering, Not "What Scenario is causing the issue?", but "How and where does a Scenario influence the way the World Editor opens up a route for editing when there are plenty of instances where you can go straight into the World Editor without having to go through a scenario, and I for one, would expect to find daylight?".

I would have thought that all world editing, and scenario editing for that matter, would be done in broad daylight, and the alternative effects of dusk, twilight, and night, would only become apparent in play, but maybe I'm just being a bit thick.

Further "Food for Thought" perhaps.

Thank you for your attention anyway gptech..........Andy......

Hi Andy,
I'd say you have a problem with the "Free Roam: Haymarket Depot Autumn Evening" scenario, as it opens in the right place for me and oddly the scenario loaded if I go straight into the route editor is the free roam at Glasgow.....I've no idea if this is ow it was intended, nor if we as users can choose which is loaded.
