Definitely! I'm not a fan of anything newer than the Thameslink blue/yellow livery to be honest.
Glad to hear it :D This looks like a 319/0: do you envisage doing a 319/1 too, also with the revised NSE livery which that subclass wore?

I'm doing all the sub classes and every livery I can get reasonable reference for, so yes. :D

Thanks, that wasn't actually supposed to be a public shot, but anyway, here's some of today's work!

Finished modelling some roof and side details, the rear of the coach and the interior. Also begun mapping and VERY VERY basic texturing, more so for fun than anything. 8)

Will there be an FCC variant?

I suppose you will do a Connex livery aswell :D

And honestly I would happily drive it as it is 8)

Which FCC variant? So far I've got the following on the to-do list:

FCC full livery
FCC Thameslink blue/white + stickers
FCC Thameslink blue/yellow + stickers
FCC Southern + stickers
FCC Thameslink blue/silver + FCC text
FCC Transforming Blackfriars

am I missing any?

No that's all of the FCC liveries. Of course there are many more 319 liveries across other companies but save that for another time.

Sorry. I meant the full FCC livery, but a transitional one would be nice too if possible. I realise you're very busy so I will let you get on with it :)

To call that preview "basic" is simply jaw-dropping! I cannot wait for the final product.

There is a mind-boggling list of liveries. I'd be happy with the major ones! Let's not even start on the seat moquettes. :drinking:

I think the main ones to do for reasons of simplicity are:
NSE
Connex
Thameslink Blue and Yellow Stripe
Southern
FCC full livery

I don't know how well AP/Waggonz have modeled wheelslip on the Pacer but this is something to think about. My experience on 319s in the rain is wheelspin, and more wheelspin! Really, I cannot wait to drive this thing, keep up the good work!

Thanks guys, I'll certainly look into the wheelslip. I've got a full livery list in the making, which I'll publish soon. I'm used to doing 150+ liveries for any one aircraft in Flight Simulator, so I'm sure I can cover most if not all on the 319. 8)

Believe me 319's are not the worst with wheelslip. The 317's over here on the ECML are terrible in rainy conditions.

Basic texturing, you flatter yourself I think. I'm speaking strictly basic of course, but is that model not just a different cab away from a Class 456 (minus AC pantograph kit) and a Class 320-2 (minus 3rd rail kit)?

We can but Steam, but it is a fantastic model you've got there and Okay be queuing up with other to fund any future work too.

It is true, they're very similar. I'll certainly have to evaluate how much work is required to convert it once the 319 is done, although it doesn't make sense not to if the majority of the work is already done.
