Hunting BR Timetables

Post by Dave4468 »

Does anyone know where online I can get or at least look for 1980/1990s timetables.

After doing some BR/NSE etc scenarios but have no idea where to look for timetables. :D
If only all problems on the big railway could simply be TAB'd past...

I find bookshops, preserved railways and abebooks are your best bet. The big BR tissue paper bricks are relatively easy to come by, but Ive never found anything online.

Hi,

I've found
http://www.britishrailwaybooks.co.uk/wtt/wtt.php

To be quite useful for ordering hard copies.

More recent stuff can be found online as NR make the full timetable available as PDF.

If you're lucky you can sometimes even pick up old working timetables. I've got a set of old CJs (Midland Mainline) running from 1993 to 1999 (not continuous though), which I got from a second hand transport bookshop. They are pretty hard to find though, unlike the current ones which are online.
