Trains not apperaring in scenarios and scenario creator

Post by Bowmanator »

Trains are not appearing in scenarios and scenario creator even if I do everything right (like clear cache and ticking the boxes (Class67pack1 etc)). Over half of my trains do not function in the correct way. Please help. :( :( :( :( :-?

There's obviously something not right, could you detail exactly what steps you go through to attempt to get the stock to show in the asset list?
Where exactly do you start hitting problems--is it that the stock doesn't show in the list, you can't select it from the list, or once selected you can't place it on the track?

hi,

the first thing I do is reinstall, then i clear the cache. But this dosen't work.
the secound thing i do is that I delete the Blueprints.pak.

These two above dosen't work.
Is there any other ways I can try and make them work?

Yeah, but how are you trying to add them to a scenario?

I go onto the right hand side list (RSC etc) and I tick the stock I want to place in the scenerio.
I then go onto the left hand side list to see if it worked but there always nothing there. :(

To see locomotive stock in the asset editor:

- it must be installed (!)
- you must be in scenario editing mode (engine icon, left-top-flyout)
- (object set filter->) right-flyout's 2 checkboxes for the provider and product in question must be selected
- the left-middle-flyout's "mode" must be selected to "engines"

See attached pic

I suggest you tell us exactly which item of stock you are trying to place, and which checkboxes you have ticked, and what you then see in the list of locomotives (e.g. attach a screenshot)

If you look closely at Ruth's picture, she's shown that you have to select the right stock listing: in other words you won't find locos if the wagons/coaches list is active. Make sure you click on the the one she's indicated.
