Update to DT Light Pacific

Post by anorak001 »

Tonight I received an update from steam for the DT Light Pacific Loco, but what I found strange was that in the DT Light Pacific folder was another folder called RailVehicles\Steam\DT_LNER_B1_Kilspringer_BR_Early. Has anyone else got this folder and is the loco accessible in TS2013?

Something wrong there - sounds like the Steam LP update has been mixed up with an unreleased reskin of the B1.

I don't have those files in my DT Light Pacific folder.

I do. I wonder whether (and where) I could add them to the B1 and see what they do?

Update! - I now have the 3D cab firebox sitting the wrong way round on the middle of the boiler :)

Is this a DT issue???? The DT patch works (for me anyway).

I've just run a file verify and then a cache clear. Steam downloaded updates for the DT Light Pacific (the second update in a few days) and the controls are STILL on the roof.

Sounds like its the RSC boys that need to get their act together.

Same here, DT patch works fine only every time I need to verify the cache or there is a steam update I have to re apply it. Hopefully the update thats due on the 3rd may include a more permanent fix for this as well.

I take it people _have_ informed RSC about this (yeah, it shouldn't be necessary given their supposed 300 beta testers, but still)

OK that sounds logical given that DT were most helpful in making sure I had the patch after this happened 1st time. So, I'll re-phrase...come on RS.com Sort this out!!!
