It is included in the TS2013 Deluxe package that is now in the Steam Sale, so you can get this route, plus Sherman Hill, plus London to Brighton all for a princely £17.49 :D

Eh? Sometimes I can't stand forums. I get the feeling I'm caught up in argument I had no intention of being involved in :D

Is the only way to purchase the deluxe edition, as a pre-existing customer, to purchase it as a gift and then gift it to yourself? Also, will purchasing it absolutely definitely not overwrite my previous privileges? IE, Ox-Pad, all the asset packs etc?

You can just select "purchase for myself" as you would with any other product.

Yes, I did what JB said here and received only the two items (Sherman Hill & Munich - Augsburg) that I didn't already own

Ah, thanks gents. They've fixed the problem that existed in the final hours leading to the release of TS2013 where existing owners could no longer purchase it for the new content.

I am thinking about purchasing the ICE-3 DLC package, question is, which routes are best to run it on in terms of drivability, suitability/ realism, value for money?

any feedback is most welcome!

thanks.

I would say get Munich to Augsburg for £12.49 and you get the ICE 3 it's a great route, whilst short it does provide much entertainment and I thoroughly enjoy it. It is highly detailed and I can say it is definitely worth the money paid.

I've bought Munich to Augsburg and see it includes ICE3. Can anyone tell me please if there's anything in the separate ICE3 package other than scenarios that would not be included with the ICE3 in the M to A route?

Thanks

No, not that I am aware of. You could always send a quick email to RSC. They will probably get back to you in the next few hours. You could always ask on their Facebook page or Twitter?

I just purchased the Munich to Augsburg route and the BR294 freight scenario looks to be missing, clearing the blueprint cache and verifying game cache did not help.

Is there anyone else who bought this route separately and have this issue?

Sent a msg to RSC already, but just out of curiosity...

Thanks.

Whiterider - Thanks for getting back to me. I decided that for a fiver it was worth it just for the scenari, and there does seem to be a bit more detailed description on the ICE3 package than in the route package.

Did you get any response from RSC please, as I've just installed this route and found 5 scenario folders were either completely empty, or, they were missing their scenario bin files, I only have 10 scenarios to play with at the moment, I even did a verify cache, but, that didn't rectify the problem, so, ended up having to delete the scenario folders to ensure they didn't corrupt the general running of the route, which incidentally, is brilliantly built and represents the German countryside and stations very well indeed.
