Not seen this reported, so don't know if it's just my setup, but I'd installed Beta7 of the 12.11 drivers due to apparent significant performance upgrades in a couple of other games I own from my 7970. All seemed to be ok, but then I noticed a weird effect is TS2013. When I was editing my own route, I noticed that the ground painting changed depending on where I had the camera. If it was close, it might look ok (ballast), but as I panned out, it changed through several different textures and ended up back at "green" grass. Zooming back in reversed it.
At first I thought I must've done something wrong in my blueprints - indeed I had made a mistake, but even when I changed the defaults for RSC/SettleCarlisle, I still got it. So I stripped my GPU overclock back, no difference, then decided to wipe all the drivers an go back to the Win8 default. Which worked fine in TS2013. So downloaded 12.10, installed them and still all ok, so it must be the 12.11 (7) betas. Will test is again and see (while creating a restore point!!) and then report to AMD, see if a fix makes it.
Anyway, thought it might be useful to anyone else scratching their heads
Matt

Re: AMD Catalyst 12.11 betas
i wouldnt use it.
ive knocked out MSN with it a few times. not that it matters. i noticed a slight texture different actoss the whole PC not just the game. after some significant fiddling (Results i cant remember) i have managed to get it to work to my liking.
I suggest having a good fiddle with the Catalyst control to get what you want out of it.
