Class 325 Broken

Hi all,

I've tried play with the 325 and have installed Kariban's 325 improvement pack (see below) and its broken the 325. All the reskinning and renaming has happened but when I attempt to move nothing, the unit will just not take power. I've tried clearing cache and swapping the driving vehicle about. Any ideas?

I had the same problem, I tried it on a 3rd rail scenario and it didn't work - I just assumed a 3rd rail problem but I didn't try it on overhead. I had to do a cache verify to re-instate the original then I just used the repaint file to update the graphics. I know it used to work so maybe TS2013 has changed something.

I haven't tried it since 2013 - it may need new blueprints, I vaguely remember a rumour about 3rd-rail/overhead becoming seperate power sources but I don't know if it happened. I will have a look at the weekend if I get time.

If someone could try overhead & third rail to see if it works on one of them, that would be handy.

Mine was on WCML-N and the poster above says they tried it on 3rd rail so I guess its broken on both counts.

My unmodified Class 325 works just fine. Just loaded the Have you been good (Santa Special) Scenario on WCML-N and then Night Time Post Scenario. Both worked fine. The Kariban 325 improvement pack must be causing the issue.

Yea, I had a go with it as default, had an idea for the scenario, applied the enhancement pack and it broke, so the culprit is obvious. I assume the scripting in the pack is the issue, working fine in TS2012 but getting broken in 2013.

I never assumed the original was broken. What I wanted to know was if the patched one was partly or completely non-functional.

I'll look at the weekend if I can.

Edit: actually I think it might be the whole lua/.out file business - try deleting any .out files from your 325 install after patching it & see if that fixes anything.

That's a confirmed fix. 5 files to delete;

Compiled .LUA files.

Yes, you can compile the included lua & copy that over the .out files instead if you want. .out is the default extension of the lua compiler.
