.... And our Survey Said....
There is a new Survey from RSC. I just had a quick look at it but I cannont see a Submit Button after choosing which Genre of Game do you play.
Any one know how to move it on?

Re: .... And our Survey Said....
This seems silly enough ! I clicked on the link, and got something saying "Thank you for your time", or something. If RSC was wanting answers to something, this is hardly the way to get them, surely ! Anymore on this ??

That is not the fault of RSC - more user error in posting the link to his completed survey.

Not user error, that's the correct URL for the start of the survey - it's more down to the way the survey site was set up.Easilyconfused wrote:That is not the fault of RSC - more user error in posting the link to his completed survey.
Survey is here: http://www.railsimulator.com/FBSurvey/
That has to be the worst survey I've ever taken part in, so repetitive I was tempted to close the tab... I must have answered what was essentially the same question at least six times and a lot of the questions were very ambiguous, such as asking if you think MSTS had a lot of content or was good value for money. Are we talking about now or in 2001? Because in its off-the-shelf state it had very little content and was poor value for money (£49.99 IIRC!). Also, asking people how many addons they've downloaded for RW1 and RW2 in the past 12 months seems a bit odd. Surely everyone's answer will be zero?
Not the best way to spend 10 minutes...

To move on you drag each game genre to the box you choose. For me I play First person shooters and Train Simulations a lot and so the both went into the Play regularly box.TheTazman wrote:There is a new Survey from RSC. Then once you have dragged them all a button at the bottom will let you continue.
Re: .... And our Survey Said....
Not sure how on earth it gave a thank you page. As i could not see a submit button on the genre selection. I did see some message about a time out tho.

Re: .... And our Survey Said....
It bombed out on me a couple of times so I have no idea if it even submitted.

You will know if it worked if the Fleece drops on your doormat in a few days time.

Didn't work for me either. Got to the question about genres of games and it asked me to "pick cards" but no cards appeared and no other options. Tried through PC twice, then through iPhone with same result each time. Really bummed because this is a great chance to have a say without it being all one-sided Facebook types but it failed!! Looks like the survey uses too many fancy graphics and pop ups perhaps which is tripping up some systems??

Very odd. I could see them and move them. lol
I tried the Compatabilty Mode in IE9 also. That sometimes moves things around a bit. But not in this case. Maybe a quick message to support is in need here.

Re: .... And our Survey Said....
Neither Chrome nor IE8 worked for me. After setting my country and location it sent me through to the main RSC website.
