Post by dledge »

The only items I appear to be missing are :

E:\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\railnetwork\signals\uk colour light\uk_mod_posts\uk 2asp ctrlsig distant.bin (Track Item) on tile Tracks.bin
E:\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\railnetwork\signals\uk colour light\uk_mod_posts\uk 2asp fixed distant.bin (Track Item) on tile Tracks.bin
E:\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\railnetwork\signals\uk colour light\uk_mod_signs\mod_sign_tpws.bin (Track Item) on tile Tracks.bin
E:\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\RSDL\RailSimulator\scenery\buildings\house_semi_01a_grouped.bin (Scenery Item) on tile +000001-000003.bin

however this dose'nt stop the route from running. Very nicely done route though. Martin, check the freefoam menu, it should be listed there.

Yep indeed, showed up on the free roams, took a partial run down the route however, there are still milk bottles in various places despite RWTools confirming there are no missing assets?
It aint a bad route at all but I am not wrong saying it is unfinished? there are some anomalies like out of place assets (over bridges too low & missing platform ends and the like, floaty buildings embankments misaligned) that sort of thing, added track unevenness myself plus bridge sounds. Makes a difference. A nice diesel gala day I think! :)

I've gone over the route myself in the editor cleaning it up a bit, I've managed to fix a few things like the platform ends and floating track.

Route shows only in Freeroam where the 2 scenarios are.

Looks like the same basic version as the 2 previous versions?

Look forward to any scenarios

Freeroam scenarios at the moment, with regular ones to follow.

From the last time I spoke with David, I'm hopeful that a diesel gala scenario pack will be released shortly.

Just tried to complete the freeroam from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead but as I was nearing the end just after Dunster the train literally dropped off the track as though it went into a big black hole and began spinning violently as if it was in the air.
Same sort of thing happen to anyone else ?

Hi Antony

I've just ran the full line from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead without a problem - are you sure you've set your points correctly at Dunster in the free roam? 8)

That may have been the case. I'll try again and see what happens, and thanks Transportsteve for the info on where to find the missing building bin files.I have already found it from my backed up assets folder from RW3. Still looking for the three remaining UK Colour light files though.

Hi Antony,

I've just had a look in my Kuju folder as I assumed these are default content, but, I don't have any signals with the word distant in the bin file title, so, either we all don't have them, or, you might need to do a verify cache. If they don't appear after that then I'm at a loss, as I doubt they are reskins by anyone, you'll have to ask the route author where they were obtained from.

Oh, and I don't even have a Folder named uk_mod_signs in my installation, maybe I need to do a verify cache as well.......

Thanks for the file reference for the signals. That cures the missing \uk colour light\ problem.

Now to try again...
