Re: Digital Traction BR Standard 2MT
It never really had a release date so isn't really pushed back, and coming soon isn't really any indication its going to be out in the following weeks or even months, plenty of other cases where its been up on sites saying "coming soon" and the item didn't come out for years. Case in point, the rebuilt light pacific was coming soon on there website and didn't get released to 8months later.
Its currently up to RSC, they decide what is being released or not, DT have said the 2MT is finished and really nothing else they can do about it, its a partner programme product so they cannot release it on their website either, if you have complaint about this, better off targetting it at RSC's facebook page, support email or twitter where someone who likely cares about the situation might take some notice, but I wouldn't hold my breath right now.
Only really the thursdays left of Nov to release, as Dec steam's release slots will be packed for x-mas releases of other bigger game titles and the x-mas sale and that is atleast a 2week gap in Dec of no releases since Steam does not release anything new in sales due to the obvious of the system being overloaded with purchases and people downloading purchases.
So fingers cross for next month, if not next year for the 2MT.

Re: Digital Traction BR Standard 2MT
Yup, 2MT is being released under the Partner Programme, which is RSC's 3rd party release scheme, so its pretty much up to them when its released, people voted for it to be put on steam on the poll on DT's facebook, so that is what happened, in turn people wait longer for releases.
As DT have said on facebook page the other day, it combats piracy, gives them more viewage and sales and people wanted it on steam, but the drawback is longer release schedules even if its complete and long times going through RSC's Q&A process.
Just have to live with it, nothing else we can do about it since RSC isn't particularly forthcoming when it comes down to information as of late.

Still waiting
Re: Digital Traction BR Standard 2MT
The loco looks like it has gone back to DT for more work... a post on their Facebook this week showed new photo's along with the note of: just putting the finishing touches to the 2MT
Why couldn't the steam loco sit down? - Because he had a tender behind.
Re: Digital Traction BR Standard 2MT
They might be just creating scenarios for the forthcoming Western Lines of Scotland to include in the 2MT package.

The 2MT has now been in development longer than the real thing's working life!

Re: Digital Traction BR Standard 2MT
No port road released = no 2MT released. Been quite a few obvious hints dropped by RSC its coming with PR scenarios so untill the route is available the 2MT is going to be on hold for release, it also went back to the dev stage because A. Matt is doing the sounds B. safety valve and chuff smoke effects which are present on the other steam engines recently were being added.
