Class 47 PRO sound pack available from AP

Post by RichyV »

Downloading mine now!! :D
If a sound pack is classed as being Pro, it means that most, if not all, of the sounds used have been recorded using state-of-the-art equipment at an especially organised recording session. This allows us to acquire the exact kind of sounds we require to create the best experience within the simulator. In the case of this pack, all sounds were recorded from 47402 at the East Lancashire Railway
Just have to wait for the Extra Stock download link to be working for the included scenarios and we're away..!

Would you both mind just trying to clear your blueprint caches? Also make sure you're testing the sounds on one of the default liveries or a livery you've amended with the EasyApply tool.

Installed, cache cleared (as I always do when installing new gear), using default IC Swallow 47 on London to Brighton scenario from the AP scenario pack. Did this process twice, same result :(

Sorry to hear that. Would you mind sending an e-mail via the Contact Us form and I'm sure I'll be able to sort it out? Thanks.

It only appears to be on the L2B scenario that this happens. The same 47 is fine on GWML.

Ahh. I think the problem lies in that a variant of the ICS livery (ICS-Yellow-HC) is used for both the AP27 scenario and the one which comes with this sound pack. The extra stock pack for this pack includes the modified version of 'ICS-Yellow-HC' but if you haven't downloaded that due to already having the necessary stock from AP27, try modifying that variant with the EasyApply tool.

Cheers, will try it out. Works fine everywhere else, great sounds and as usual an incredible improvement.

I have purchased this and installed, including the extra stock pack, but upon loading the scenario for London to Brighton, I am told I have some missing stock:

RSC\Class421Pack01\railvehicles\electric\class421\cx\mbs\4cig_mbs_cx.bin
RSC\Class421Pack01\railvehicles\electric\class421\cx\mbs\4cig_mbs_np_cx.bin
RSC\Class421Pack01\railvehicles\electric\class421\cx\tso\4cig_tso_cx.bin
RSC\Class421Pack01\railvehicles\electric\class421\cx\tso\4cig_tso_np_cx.bin

Can anyone assist?

It seems a reskin is missing from the extra stock pack. I installed the stock pack for AP27 and that's sorted it.

Now I have the in-cab silence so I have to follow the steps above!

My train is going to be very late getting to Brighton. :P

Just to say I recently bought the Pro pack for the 37 and it's a great improvement over the previous AP pack, let alone the default sounds. Anyone who has not tried AP sounds before should give their ears a treat.
