Modern UK signals?
I am trying to build a small british route. However, I have been unable to find any modern british signals to use! I can only find semaphores and early colour light signals. Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Greetings from Sweden!
Please forgive any mistakes in my english. I'm not a native speaker!

Hi Bonan,
Believe it or not you can still use semaphore signals on modern British Routes, the line between Peterborough and Ely which is a major cross country route with container trains and passenger trains is still semaphore signalled, and also the line between Ely and Norwich has semaphore signals as well.
These are the nearest modern signals for msts ID: 10451,just don't use the searchlight ones.

Re: Modern UK signals?
You could maybe use the signals from british routes on UKTS such as Glasgow to Carlisle V3 and others, or even UK signals from commercial british routes from Making Tracks or Europeanbahn (since ceased trading though). You will have to ask for permission to use the UK signals from the authors of the particular route you choose though.

I have no idea where the signals in Glas-Car are from, I only use what was already in place when I took over.
In the permissions, all it says is, " R.Thoburn
Source File - signals.zip
Detailed models of modern UK style colour lights. "
Edit: On further inspection, it was Rob Thorburn who did the signals, aka GoingNorth, but he's not been on here in years and none of his stuff is in the download library anymore. He's the person you'd need to contact if you were to use the signals from Glas-Car, so you might have to look elsewhere, unless you can track him down.

Hi Bonan,
you can use the Europeanbahn/Making Tracks modern signals, but they can only be used for your own personal use,you can't release your route for any one else,or show screen shots of your route,as that would be breach of UK copy write law unless you get permision from the 2 Commercial Route Makers.
Best stick to the LMS and ER colour light signals in the library if you plan to release your route.
