This gets weirder! I checked the obvious providers and Assets/Kuju/RailSimulator was already ticked, as was Newbouy and the RSC 8F that forms the basis of the reskinned 8Fs. For experiment's sake, I cloned the scenario again and swapped the red 8F for the O4 version of the V2 - I don't have the original pack - and, although the signals at Quorn and Rothley continued to play up, all the other signals and route settings worked perfectly and the V2 coupled to the TPO train.

At least I managed to complete the scenario, which is pretty good, I should say.

Latest News
  • The route now has basic quick drive functionality
  • I've gone through the route and added a lot more foliage and weeds etc
  • Signalling is in the process of being overhauled. It's almost finished thanks to Tony's efforts
  • I've also relaid the down sidings at Loughborough to bring them into use. I couldn't work out why I could never access sidings in a scenario. So, I took the painful decision to relay the offending track. It can now accept instructions in the editor
Version 3 will be released soon as a freeware pack.

I've thought about it but just haven't had time to research it.

I can't imagine there will be new loco's...

I had been wondering what had happened to version 3 of the route, things seemed to be progressing quickly, and seemed very near to release, then all went quiet.

I do understand Matt has probably been some-what distracted by his new sound pack venture 8) but i hope this route hasn't been 'shelved' for the foreseeable future :-?
Why couldn't the steam loco sit down? - Because he had a tender behind.

Nope not shelved, besides working on sound, Matt is also working on the team project of SVR and is also currently working with DT with their current steam engines releases, so one would assume the commercial projects will get priority for the time being.

Plus he was working on his own on GCR so it will take abit longer to do especially with multiple obligations right now. In regards to the locomotive probably not much will change loco wise besides updated reskins or sound adjustments but not 100% certain, I'm sure some GCR scenarios with some of the new steam engines coming our way will make a appearance afterward or around GCR V3 to anyway, for the time being version 2 is pretty excellent as it is so should hold people over :)

Morning

I have downloaded this brilliant looking route but experiencing a few issues. Firstly I can not find the Uk Buildings pack on Steam despite following links on the earlier pages of this forum. Also despite having all other necessary DLC and graphics settings st highest there is no track visible in the route and platforms missing. Any ideas plesse?
