Hi
Thanks for the quick heads up on that. I probably could have got on the roof myself and yelled. We are not very far apart.
Thanks again....Phill

Re: DT light pacific and rebuilt light pacific
I have the Light Pacific, bought from DT, and have experienced the "cab on roof" phenomenon since the changeover to TS2013.
I installed the latest patch this afternoon but unfortunately, in my case it hasn't resolved the matter.
Looking on the Facebook page of DT it seems that some have been successful whilst others share my experience.
I wonder, before troubling DT further, may I enquire of Forum colleagues ................. has anybody else continued to have the "external cab" after installing the latest patch?

Didn't work for me, this is a pic from Failed Pines, Cleared Cache, still a problem.
The picture shows the result on the left screen and the manual and the new cache on the right screen
Cheers

Question should be asked, have you applied the patch over the store bought version, e.g. the originally before they rebuilt their website or the steam version, because the patch on the facebook page is only for the one bought on DT's website.

Re: DT light pacific and rebuilt light pacific
Just checked on Steam. Looks like I got mine from Steam but its in a ///assets/DT/lightpacific folder, but it has only installed the manual and 1 scenario in 0000000002 folder.
Luckily I'd done a full back up before installing the update so can use one of my programes to do a before and after comparison.
I'll just have to wait I suppose. boohoo. I like the Spam Cans.
Cheers

Hi,
I've got the Steam version installed and the cab instruments are on the top of mine as well. Guess we will just have to wait until it successfully undated via steam.
Antony
Edit: I just tried the patch from the DT facebook page and it worked for me also.

Re: DT light pacific and rebuilt light pacific
DT seem to have been working overtime on our behalf this evening.................
They added a note to their Downloads section, drawing attention to the correct file that needed to be downloaded to remove the "cab on roof syndrome"
I am guilty of downloading the scenarios file in error rather than the much larger patch file.
When I took the necessary action the LP was returned to life in all its former glory.
If, like me, you have had the cab problem, maybe check which file you've downloaded?
Can I finish by thanking DT for their diligence in monitoring their Facebook page and UKTS forum - identifying what some people might be getting wrong - and flagging up what was needed.
