Hi all,
As routes go, I'd say that
Didcot - Bristol - Cardiff is a
major missing link. If we had that, it would be possible to create series of scenarios, albeit spanning several freeware and payware routes (and also several eras, which might not suit the purists, but hey ho!) as follows:
London all the way to Plymouth (starting with RSC's Great Western Main Line, then the missing bit Didcot - Bristol - Cardiff, diverging at Bristol and on down to Exeter via JT's Bristol & Avonmouth/Bristol - Exeter, and finishing on South Devon Banks).
London all the way to West Wales and other destinations in the Principality (starting, again, with RSC's Great Western Main Line, then the missing bit Didcot - Bristol - Cardiff, from there further onward to Carmarthen on the assumption that South West Wales might at some point reach Cardiff, or off in other directions via Wales & Borders).
My apologies if this bit of route is being worked on and I've missed it - just though I'd pitch in with my tuppenyworth
Cheers
Norm
