Going on sounds - I don't think the engine sounds are 100%. Especially from the outside or in cab with cab window open, they just sound like a knackered Class 101. I'll probably grow on it though, thanks very much AP and Waggonz!

Absolutely phenomenal. Model, sounds, features and physics excellent from what I can see.

Oh that wouldn't bother me - nor most people I'd imagine?
Any plans in adding it in future a v1.1 perhaps? be a shame.... (hint...hint....)

Surely it would be wrong if it didn't sound like a knackered 101......essentially that's what it is! Give me a knackered 101(in real life) anyday, although in RW I know I would pick the Pacer, will no doubt get it at some point, looks fabulous. Well done all.
Cheers,
Mark

Really it should sound like a knackered Leyland bus!almark wrote:thetrainfan wrote:Absolutely phenomenal. Model, sounds, features and physics excellent from what I can see.

I purchased it too, just itching to get me TS2012 fixed so i can play!
Now Foggy you were saying something about knackered Leyland buses? I think this is a proper bus on rails. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mr-bg/4417445371/lightbox/

The Leyland Lynx we had at our Depot was far from knackered the thing went like a rocket. Shame the same could not be said about the rest of the Leylands we had.

I like to think so!FoggyMorning wrote:(is there any such thing as a non-knackered Leyland bus?)

I bought the 142 this afternoon, just taken it for a quick spin along the Settle - Carlisle so far but it's very nice.

That's the daddy of the Pacer's, LEV1, and it still exists today. It recently moved to the NRM, Shildon, from the North Norfolk Railway.smarty2 wrote:I purchased it too, just itching to get me TS2012 fixed so i can play! Now Foggy you were saying something about knackered Leyland buses? Oh damn releasing things when I'm away!
I'll stick my hat in the ring for doing a GMPTE Orange skin, was the original Blue included? I once got a 6 car set to Blackpool, blue, skipper, and orange

The original spec blue was indeed included... Still a few more liveries to do though...bdy26 wrote:Oh damn releasing things when I'm away!

I think that this is the best locomotive ever released for RWs, and it has absolutely flaws or problems at launch. Simply perfect package, very well done Waggonz

Looks fantastic, excellent work
Just one thing, I seem to be missing the 'Northern Spirit' livery for the 156 used in the scenario for the Newcastle to York Modern route. Anyone else finding this or can someone point me in the right direction?
Many thanks

For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it

Great model love it to bits!
However... For some reason only the front unit's doors opened when I tried the S&C scenario.
On the winter B&E scenario the distance to go for the first 2 stops stayed at 0.9 miles, but that's probably an anomaly with the route and not a fault with the 142.

fyi - the distance counter did the same for me with that scenario. Tonight I have made some other scenarios using the 142 for BA and S&C and they seem fine.

Re: Class 142 Diesel Multiple Unit Add-on coming soon!
Top quality release, outstanding work from the team. The Pacer must be one of my least favourite trains in the history of UK railways and to be honest, in real life they always used to make me wince in revulsion whenever I saw one! but this cracking addon has made me have a complete change of heart and I only wish they were still running out of Exeter because I'd pop up and get some mileage on one now just for fun! Another bar-raiser this addon, almost perfect with all bells and whistles attached. It's got all the features we should now be demanding as standard, full startup sequence, masterkey, cab light, instrument lights, sliding windows (that alter the sound too), lots of additional buttons to press just for fun like cab heater, compressor etc, great sounds, high res cab detailing, you can even flip the secondmans seat up and down! Bargain at £9.99 and puts RSC DLC traction to shame.
