Charwelton

Post by Nvincer »

Hello all,

To go some way towards prolonging the life of MSTS, I have just released my brand new model of 'Charwelton' which (for those who don't know) is an ex-industrial locomotive which is currently running on the Kent and East Sussex Railway.

Hi Ben,
OK, I'll talk to you then. :D No wonder content builders get disillusioned. Too many see download stock as theirs as a right.
Nice to see you back. Providing Standard gauge items. 8)

I will put 'Charwelton' in my explore mode consists and she will get used.

Thanks for the effort.
Good luck

Doug

Hiya Doug,

Thanks for your reply, I hope she can find some use on your MSTS.

Glad to hear there are still people using it! Makes me laugh when I come back and read all of these people declaring MSTS as 'dead', I don't think it can be dead until the last person switches it off...and I feel there is a long way to go until that happens!

Thanks,

Ben

Hi Ben,
At the risk of sounding condescending.
You and the others, make 'em and I'll drive 'Em  and so I hope will many others.

I use the Thirty-Five route:-

Totally fictitious but perfect for busying your self with an industrial loco a rake of wagons.

Good luck

Hi There,

I have not seen the thirty-five route mentioned for ages.

A cracking little route to practice your shunting on. For it's day a very advanced route.

It is also great to see a new industial loco introduced to MSTS.

Thanks Ben

Lovely little pug.

One small problem.
The .eng file contains the line IsTenderRequired( 1 )
This will cause the loco to run out of coal and water.

It should be IsTenderRequired( 0 )

However this may be intentional as the bunker is empty!

Great little addition to the MSTS fleet. A shame that the KESR route hasn't been thought off yet?

It's been done.

http://www.kesr-operating.org.uk/trainsim/

Seems to be unavailable now tho.

Decapod's KESR steam locos are still available here....

http://www31.brinkster.com/decapod/download.htm

Not sure if the site is still maintained.
I'd advise downloading the whole lot while you can.

It is definitely still available, I was only there the other week and they had some on the counter for sale.

Ben

Edit - For some reason the whole of the online store is suspended so I guess buying in person is the only way ATM.
