RW European routes crashing

Post by MedinaOhio »

RW3 is acting very strangely. It boots up OK, but if I go to run anything on any UK or German route-either play or edit a scenario--it crashes during loading. North American routes and scenarios work fine. Any ideas on how to remedy this?

I had a similar event once quite recently, I resolved it by verifying the integrity of game cache via steam, then clearing the blueprint cache on the RW splash screen tab Tools & Docs.

Hope that helps, if not then I can only suggest contacting RSC support

Had you edited anything prior to getting this issue?

Possibly the Asset providers called by those routes now contain too many assets (Kuju folder a big suspect). Only way to test this theory is to ceate a separate Asset folder and as a test install assets for one of the problem routes in there and see if t works.

I need separate asset folders for my Euro routes , US routes and 2 for UK routes.

Verifying the cache cleared up the problem. Thanks for the help, guys.
