One frustrating day today.
So i'm happily creating a scenario for LB, been going in and out of it for some hours now checking it works and using realtime information online. However, i've just gone into the editor and this is what i'm greeted with...

The scenario is set just after midnight so it is dark, BUT it shouldnt be dark in the editor and it has been fine all morning, no settings have been changed and i've cleared the cache...
Obviously i cant work in the dark, thats pretty impossible, anyone have any suggestions?
I've gone into the scenario editor for other scenarios and they are working fine, its just this one i am creating.

Re: One frustrating day today.
Try exiting RW completely and restart the game.
Hope it works.

Wish it was that simple. If ever i get an error i always do the standard three things. Restart, clear blueprint, clear game cach. Just waiting for the game cach to finish and we'll see if that clears the issue.

I had this when trying to create a run on Keithross GWML hence the reason I made the run on the default GWML. But I did find out if I turned off TSX mode the problem went.

When ever you make a scenario set in the night, the next time you want to edit the scenario, it WILL be dark in the editor. What you can do is change the time back to something as 1200 and when you're done change it back to what it was. Backup your scenario as I'm not sure if this method works.

Thanks, i've put the time back to 15:00, so i'll finish off the scenario, revert back to 00:17 then all i need to do is use the timetable view to make sure the AI traffic is all timed correctly.

Re: One frustrating day today.
My advice would be to build the scenario in the day (in your case start the scenaro at 12:17pm) and then when you are happy with it, and tested it in daylight, simply use RW Tools to alter the start time to 00:17. (RW Tools will then automatically adjust the start time of very piece of AI so that it fits the new start time of the scenario).
Now you will have the night time version of the day time scenario without having to do any further manual interventions.

ehm... Why not save yourselves the trouble with altering the start times of scenarios, and turn the brightness up in the Railworks menu????

What a cunning idea, its all done now anyway, thanks guys. The scenario is all up for download as ''last train home'' on the LB route.
