What did you see today?

Post by JavelinSprinter »

Although I haven't seen anything exotic today, I did get some good looks at some rareish locos on my trips back home on the 11th.

Aside from the normal commuter trains (in this case, 317, 377, 379, 465, 442, C69, D78, 450, 313) I did see some I have never seen before. Would've taken pictures, but camera wasn't within reach.

A Class 59 590??, Class 90's 90004 and 90014 and Class 37's 3790? and 379??. What did you see, but couldn't take a snap of?

Loads of ATW Sprinters, Pacers and EWS coal trains. Nothing Special and I'm not going to see anything more interesting for some time. :-?

In the last few days I've three times seen a DVT being pushed by a class 67 (both in shiny new Arriva blue) passing through Wem, heading to Crewe. I assume it isn't the same pairing each time, but I've never been close enough to read the numbers.
