Excellent, looking forward for multiplayer & other improvements they offer for free. My deepest gratitude for those who fund this action(the payware buyers) for rest of us!

Yes - there's no mention of multiplayer anywhere in Paul Jackson's announcement.

Think Positive - sounds like a commune. To akin to not thinking at all. Oh well, vendors like customers who always are on the rosey side. Makes them easier to manage. The real way to look at Jackson's promises is with hope but include a dash of history. I really liked the initial thrust of the program as a simulator but I just as strongly dislike games. I want a simulation and that is where it all began. Maybe, just maybe, the people who do enjoy games have bought enough DL stuff to finance a nice update for the train operation types. No I am not thinking positively but there may be hope.

Hold on, Ash, wasn't Multiplayer mentioned a while ago? It is possible that may be part of the exciting new features...as far as I can tell, they have not actually announced what new technical features are coming (if they are coming, says I ;) )

Two years ago RS.com posted "First Look" video to youtube where the multiplayer deputed indeed.

To be honest, the post itself didn't mention anything in particular, just 'new technologies' that are going to be showcased, so in RSC's tradition they leave a lot to the imagination of the readers. I would imagine people would make more of a 'guess list' rather than a wish list.

Ash

Neither is there any mention of an impending update....
Dear friends, I am pleased to announce that over the next couple of months we will be showcasing the new technologies we have been working on. We’re going to show you new developments each week over the summer, looking at the different advances we have been making.
We're going to see what they've been working on, how far they've got-----no mention of when, or if, we'll actually get to use any of the new 'goodies'.

How's about just plain waiting until the announcement is actually made!! This pure speculation and assumptions just make you and this forum look bad. :(

Being able to load up a route or scenario that ONLY includes consist items used in that scenario and NOT all of Kuju UK and USA etc, including all the possible reskins, would vastly increase loading times and reduce SBHHs, re-designing the route maps for easy access, and updating the core engine to enable older PC owners to play and really enjoy the game would be a great start. And working with Nvidia and AMD to recommend the best graphics card settings ( they do this for many other games!) would also be good.

Sorry for the shopping list - I, for one, really love this game and REALLY appreciate all the updating work being done by the developers. Thanks, guys.
