It was always like that. No need to worry.

Yeah, it's a Brunel building - Grade II listed IIRC? Sadly didn't stop them knocking down the one on the down platform or those at Heyford, Kings Sutton, Radley and elsewhere. "Official vandalism" indeed :(

They had 2 Brunel designed buildings at Stonehouse that were grade 2 listed in the early 1970s. BR wanted to shut the station but were talked out of it. In revenge they had the station buildings delisted, and then knocked down. No, I dont understand it either.

People complain about vandals and graffiti artists, and perhaps are right to do so, but there never seems to be any comeback on those officially appointed vandals who have done so much harm to the historic infrastructure of the country down through the years.

Somebody should email that picture to RSC, so they can at least put the shed onto the rearmost platform (and retexture it abit so it looks worn and out of use)

Why is the platform at Culham like this in real life? Looks a bit of a weird set up...

I guess that because the old stone shelter is apparently a grade listed building, they found it easier to 'retire' the existing platform and build a new one just beyond it...
