Zoomed Effect Screenshots

I while ago i was reading a post which shown what file to edit to allow the zoomed effect or extra depth which ever you prefer to call it but 1, i can`t remember which file needs the editing and 2, i can`t find the post :roll:

If you search for FOV or field of view you will be rewarded. Looks great if you don't overdo it :wink:

Plus, when you launch the game with the FOV edited, don't forget that you can't change it back again to the normal value, which is good for driving - be prepared to drive from the F4 HUD! It's like you're permanently zoomed in in the cab.

Thanks guys :wink: Last time i played with this i edited a line in a file, this time time im doing it via a command line, what is the default value?

I think the default value is 70, I find that setting it to 30 or 20 is good.

You are editing the start-up command line aren't you?

If you're just taking shots from inside the cab you don't need to change a thing. The up-arrow key allows you to zoom quite nicely along the track ahead and however far the cab designere has allowed the "head" to move (down arrow takes you back to normal view).
