Graphics Bug

Post by btvboxer »

While viewing the London to Brighton thread in the RW section, I noticed that the last post has a weird layout. Does anyone else get this?

There is what appears to be an issue with the quoting of the youtube link. I'm seeing a (what appears to be) unneccesary / > in the quote which could be causing the forum software to not correctly format the post.

Indeed it does appear to be an issue with the quote. By inserting a leading space in the quote before the http link to YouTube I appear to have fixed it. This is being raised with the admins since the moderators can't do much about it apart from fix broken quotes.

I wonder if the software will allow YT videos to be treated kind of like signature blocks were changed to recently, where they only show once a page? A quoted YT video - with the disclaimer panel - takes up about as much room as a whole page's worth of signature blocks.

It isn't just videos - could the same not be said about screenshots? I find that a page full of quoted pictures/videos is infinitely more annoying than repeated signatures ever were!
